NGO “Pirot E Publika” is a non-profit organization from Pirot, South-East Serbia, established to make better life for Youth and popularize the spirit of art and culture. The organization focuses its work on the development of urban youth culture and raising awareness on issues of concern in society, with the vision of building a creative space for young people in city of Pirot and in the whole region.
NGO “Pirot E Publika” was founded in 2008. and in 2011. officially registered. The organization was founded as an organization of all those young people who were tired of not being able to realize their creative potential because of closure of than existing institutions and lack of physical, financial and other resources. Present situation at that time determined goals and activities of our organization.
Our activities consider this:
1. Festivals, concerts, DJ parties, literary evenings and similar activities
2. Lectures, conferences (society, cultural rights as part of human rights, youth policy)
3. Workshops, trainings, conferences, seminars, camps (education)
4. Activities that include ecology
Our members are young, but experienced people who have participated in many training, seminars, forums, festivals with Youth office from Pirot and have a lot of experience. They are also members of students and high school’s parliaments in Serbia. Some of them are trainers for non-formal learning in many areas and experienced event organizers.
Two of them are pronounced to be one of 150 New Leaders of Serbia.
